 Les 5 membres de ce groupe électro/pop/rock, agés de 17 à 22 ans,Strify (lead singer), Kiro (Bass) , Shin (batterie), Yu (Guitar) et Luminor (Clavier et seconde voix) se sont rencontrés en 2005 à l’Animagic, célèbre salon Manga / Animation qui rassemble tous les adeptes européens de bandes dessinées, musique J-rock/J-pop et culture nippone … L’alchimie entre les 5 garçons, qui avaient déjà tous joué dans différents projets musicaux, les a tout de suite poussés à monter un groupe ensemble. Le nom du groupe, Cinema Bizarre, symbolise leurs looks personnels, leurs performances démentes et fait également référence aux films amateurs du même nom (science-fiction, thriller, film d’horreur – tous les genres sont représentés), qui étaient très populaires dans les années 70 et 80 auprès d’un public qui cherchait autre chose que le cinéma traditionnel.
