Una exposición titulada "Faberge: joyas preciosas del Imperio Ruso" fue inaugurado hoy aquí en la presencia de Alexander Avdeev, Ministro de Cultura, Federación de Rusia, Smt. Ambika Soni Union Minister for Tourism and Culture and Dr. Karan Singh, President ICCR. Ambika Soni Ministro de Turismo y Cultura, Dr Karan Singh, Presidente ICCR.
Speaking on the occasion the Tourism and Culture Minister Smt. Hablando en la ocasión, el Turismo y el Ministro de Cultura Smt. Ambika Soni referred to the close cultural ties between India and Russia and said this exhibition will further strengthen the bilateral cultural cooperation between the two countries. Ambika Soni se refirió a la estrecha los lazos culturales entre la India y Rusia y dijo que esta exposición fortaleciendo aún más la cooperación cultural bilateral entre los dos países.
She said festival of India in Russia will be celebrated in 2009. Dijo festival de la India en Rusia se celebrará en 2009. Referring to the exhibition the Minister said she is confident that it will attract a large number of viewers and visitors to the National Museum as jewellery is an integral part of Indian living. Refiriéndose a la exposición el Ministro dijo que confía en que va a atraer un gran número de espectadores y visitantes al Museo Nacional como la joyería es una parte integrante de la vida india.
The Russian Minister said both the countries increase people to people contact through such exhibitions as they have close cultural ties. El ministro ruso indicó que tanto los países a aumentar las personas en contacto con las personas a través de dichas exposiciones, ya que tienen estrechos vínculos culturales. The President of the ICCR Dr. Karan Singh outlined the salient features of the exhibition on the occasion. The exhibition, titled : “Faberge – The Precious Jewellery of Russian Empire”, consists of 196 pieces of the Faberge exhibition from London, St. Petersburg and Moscow. La exposición, titulada: "Faberge - La joyería de preciosos Imperio Ruso", consta de 196 piezas de la exposición de Faberge Londres, San Petersburgo y Moscú.
The work of Carl Faberge (1846-1920) echoes the events of his time and is intimately associated with the turbulent Russian history at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. La labor de Carl Faberge (1846-1920) se hace eco de los acontecimientos de su tiempo y está íntimamente asociado con la turbulenta historia de Rusia en el turno de los siglos 19 y 20.
